Baked Macaroni


Resepi ni dapat from kawan blogger: Siti Nur namanya.... ni pun gambar masakan dia. Kite tempek je kat sini for future reference. :p

Ingredients:
- 250 gr macaroni pipe or coil form. Boil as instruct
ion on packet just until 3/4 cooked. Set aside
Red Sauce:
- 1 carrot. diced or shape match
- 200 gr ground meat
- 1 medium onion. finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic. Finely chopped
- 1 large tomato fruit. skin peeled and finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste. Dissolve a half cup water / broth(Siti replaca sos pasta ½ cawan..lagi trasa kewesternannya..hihi)
- Dried basil 1 / 2 tbsp.(Siti xbuh pun)
- Sugar, salt and pepper to taste.
- 1 1 / 2 tablespoons butter for sauteing.
White Sauce:
- 1 1 / 2 cup whole milk
- Two eggs.
- 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste.

- Mozzarella Cheese or cheddar (or any kind of topping cheese you like)

Direction:
Red sauce
1) Heat butter and saute the ground meat until brown. Add the garlic and onion, saute until wilted and fragrant. Add tomatoes, stirring until tomato is wilted.
2) Put carrots and cook until carrots are tender. Add dissolved tomato paste. Stir well. Seasoning with sugar, salt and pepper. Do taste test. Add dried basil leaves, stir and turn off the heat. Set aside
White sauce.
1) Beat eggs until loose, add milk, salt and pepper and bread crumbs. Stir until blended.

Pre heat oven at 160 deg C. Layered heat-resistant baking dish with butter. Arrange the macaroni, and put red sauce, pour with white sauce then sprinkle with cheese. Do the same up to three layers and all ingredients finish. Bake in oven 160 deg C until cooked (approximately 45 min)

Serve warm with chili sauce or tomato sauce

Edisi Raya : Ketupat Daun Palas



Bahan-Bahan:
2 kg beras pulut - rendam 6 jam
2 tin santan - 800ml
1 sb rata garam
daun palas secukupnya


Cara Membuatnya:
  • kukus pulut separuh masak (-+ 10min). masukkan pulut yg separuh masak dlm bekas besar. masukkan 1 tin santan yg dicampur dgn garam. kacau serata. biarkan 10 min.
  • kukus lagi beras tadi hingga masak. masukkan pulut yg dah masak dlm bekas besar. masukkan lebihan santan. biarkan hingga suam. dan boleh bungkus.
  • bila semua siap di bungkus. kukus lagi ketupat tadi selama 30 min.
  • siap untuk dihidang atau simpan dalam freezer.

Edisi Raya : Rendang Daging

Sempena nak raya ni, kita selit resepi wajib hari raya:


Bahan-bahan ( 5-6 orang )

  • 1kg daging- potong kecik-kecik
  • 2 peket kecik rempah kurma
  • 1/4 cawan kerisik
  • 1 biji kelapa-ambik santannya
  • garam
  • gula melaka / gula
  • sedikit air asam jawa


****BAHAN KISAR**

  • 2 labu bawang besar
  • 5 ulas bawang putih
  • 5 batang serai
  • 1-1/2cm halia
  • 1-1/2cm lengkuas
  • 15-20 biji cili kering


***BAHAN MAYANG ***

  • 3 helai daun limau purut
  • 1 helai daun kunyit


Cara-cara


  1. Tumis bahan yang dikisar sehingga naik bau.
  2. Masukkan rempah kurma. Tumis lagi sehingga berbau.
  3. Masukkan daging, kacau rata. Biarkan 2-3 minit. Kemudian masukkan santan.
  4. Bila agak-agak daging dah lembut, masukkan air asam jawa, garam dan gula.
  5. Bila daging dah betul lembut, masukkan pula kerisik dan gaul rata.
  6. Akhir sekali masukkan daun yang dimayang, biarkan sehingga kuah agak pekat.
  7. PERHATIAN: Masak dengan api perlahan.
